In 2008 I was at my heaviest ever in my life and was very depressed. A coworker offered me the opportunity to join a study with Weight Watchers and UCF (a local college). It changed my life forever.
I will tell you now that I am not in any way advertising for weight watchers and the plan I use is not one that they advertise today. It was a experimental plan that is very similar to their new point system they just introduced last year (2010). For some reason though, the plan I was assigned to magically worked for me and I didn't even feel for one day that I was on a diet.
I want to share my success with as many people as possible. I have had so many people ask me how in the world did I loose 50 pounds and was able to keep it off. I've been asked if I used any supplements or secret surgeries and the answer to all of it is NO NO NO!
The biggest changes that I made was in the way I cook and prepare my meals and in the ingredients I buy and use to cook. I do not tell a lie when I say that I eat more food and better tasting food today than I ever have.
